Terms of Use

§ 01The service

Poco is a Spanish-language learning app. We offer a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Poco Pro") that unlocks additional content and removes limits. We may change, add, or discontinue features over time.

§ 02Your account

You can use the free tier without an account. Some features (progress sync across devices, purchases, restore) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

§ 03Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, disrupt it, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it to infringe others' rights.

§ 04Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Poco Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, available in monthly and yearly plans. The exact price and any free-trial terms are shown in the App before you confirm, in your local currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial (if offered): any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Managing / cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's App Store settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms; we do not process payments directly and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves.

§ 05Intellectual property

The App and its content (lessons, exercises, audio, text, design) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own learning. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the content except as permitted by law.

§ 06Educational nature; no guarantee

Poco is an educational tool. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, proficiency level, or exam result. Content is provided for general learning purposes.

§ 07Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

§ 08Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

§ 09Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.

§ 10Apple App Store

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

§ 11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Effective date". Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

§ 12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
